Made at a time when the country knew mass unemployment and one third of the workforce earned less than £100 per week, this film speaks to women with children living on a low income and some of the young people themselves. It present their analysis of their situation, the Thatcher government's spending priorities and their anger at the conditions they have to put up with, with particular focus on housing.
