Sheffield Film Co-op
For a living wage
Made in 1986 at a time when more than 40% of the adult workforce earned less than £115 per week, this film examines the major low-paying areas of work and points to the underlying causes of women, black people and young people being confined to these jobs.
The film suggests some of the measures that need to be taken to challenge low pay either by the low paid or the Trade Unions and local and national government.
